ByteLite LLC is committed to privacy as a design requirement, not a legal checkbox. This policy describes what data is collected through this website and under what conditions.

What this website collects

Contact form submissions

If you submit the contact form, your name, email address, inquiry type, message, and optionally an organization name are submitted to an endpoint on this site. Your IP address is used to enforce a submission rate limit. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing.

Delivery uses SendGrid, a third-party transactional email provider, which processes the message in order to send it. There is no CRM and no marketing automation: the message becomes an email to ByteLite LLC and nothing else. Submissions are validated server-side, and a failed submission tells you it failed rather than silently discarding your message.

Analytics

No analytics provider is currently loaded on this website. No Google Analytics tag, no other analytics script, and no advertising or tracking script is served by any page. If privacy-respecting analytics are added in future, they will run only where you have recorded consent through the cookie preferences described below, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not set advertising cookies. The only value it stores in your browser is your cookie-consent choice, kept in your browser's local storage so the consent banner does not reappear on every page. Clearing your browser storage for this site removes it.

What this website does not do

• Sell personal information to third parties
• Create advertising profiles
• Track individuals across other websites
• Use behavioral targeting advertising
• Load any analytics or tracking script
• Retain contact form data beyond the purpose of responding

Other ByteLite LLC services

This website is about ByteLite. ByteLite LLC also operates separate, non-public services that are not presented on this site but that do process data, and they are disclosed here so this policy stays complete.

Cordel Connect. This application is in private Android test and beta development only. It is not available on any public app store. A separate, app-specific privacy policy will be published before any broader beta release or public app launch. Beta participants are informed of data handling specific to their testing role. Nothing about that testing is collected through this website.

Payments and founder reservations

Nothing on this website charges you today. Every founder control is switched off at the server, not merely hidden, and a request to start a checkout is refused rather than processed.

When it is enabled, payment is handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. ByteLite LLC never receives, sees or stores your card number, in test mode or live mode. Stripe processes that data as its own controller under its own privacy policy.

What ByteLite LLC would retain for a reservation or purchase is deliberately small: which product and plan you chose, which version of the founder offer you accepted, and which version of the terms applied. That is what is needed to honour the offer later and to account for the transaction. It does not include your card details.

Supporter wall listing is separate and off by default. If the Founder Supporter Pack is ever purchased, appearing on a public supporter wall happens only if you tick a separate, unticked box and choose a display name. Agreeing to a purchase is never agreeing to be listed, and neither is agreeing to marketing - there is no marketing list.

Removal from a supporter wall, or withdrawal of a reservation, can be requested through the contact page at any time.

Third-party services

This website is served by a third-party hosting provider, which necessarily processes request data such as IP addresses in the ordinary course of serving pages. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. SendGrid delivers contact-form messages. Stripe is the payment processor for founder reservations and the Founder Supporter Pack, and is currently operating in test mode with all checkout controls disabled. ByteLite LLC does not use advertising networks on this website, and no advertising or tracking script is served by any page.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any contact form data submitted by emailing through the contact page. ByteLite LLC will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as ByteLite LLC's products develop. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted.
