Research statements are not product claims

Research described on this website is ongoing. A research objective is an objective, not a claim of existing capability. A status such as "internally tested" means what its definition on the milestones page says, and nothing more. Nothing on this website is a claim of independent verification, production readiness or commercial availability unless it says so explicitly.

No purchases, reservations or subscriptions

No payment, reservation, preorder or subscription can be made through this website today. Checkout is switched off in this website's configuration. Before any of that changes, the specific terms will be published, and you will be asked to accept them before anything can be charged.

Cordel Play is planned as a physical product for adults aged 18 or over. Under the United States Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, a seller that takes payment must have a reasonable basis to ship within the stated time, or within 30 days if no time is stated, and must have a process for obtaining consent to delays or issuing refunds. ByteLite LLC will not accept a paid preorder until it can meet those requirements.

If the Founder Supporter Pack is ever offered, it will be a purchase from ByteLite LLC, a for-profit company. It will not be a charitable donation, it will not be tax deductible, and it will provide no equity, repayment rights, product ownership, product access or control over development. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or investment. General business and investor inquiries can be sent through the contact form. They create no obligation on either side.

Proprietary technology

ByteLite LLC's research methods and systems are proprietary. Descriptions on this website explain objectives, status and how results are judged. They do not disclose implementation, and nothing on this website grants a license to use, copy or build on ByteLite LLC's technology. Any use requires a separate written agreement.

Statuses reflect the best information available on the date shown. ByteLite LLC may change, delay or stop any research program or product.
